The Buffalo Bills have wrapped up their star at St. John Fisher for training camp, and they do so without a long-term deal with James Cook getting done. The Pro Bowl running back began a hold-in at the tail end of camp, citing "business" as the reason for not suiting up.

While the entire saga has been frustrating for fans, Cook seems to have the support of his teammates through this process. One player who was vocally supportive of Cook getting a big deal was quarterback Josh Allen, who voiced his support for his running back on Thursday.

“This is generational stuff," Allen said. "It's for you and your family. He’s still going through mental reps. He's a pro, he knows what he's doing. We desperately want him out there.”

The speculation is that a deal will get done between the organization and the star running back. Until that happens, though, there will continue to be a discourse around the situation as a whole.
