Bills pushed to trade with Eagles for superstar WR after season-ending Philly loss image

The Buffalo Bills are going to have to deal with their mediocre wide receiver room the rest of this postseason.

They're three wins from the Lombardi Trophy, and QB Josh Allen has a rickety group of pass catchers.

They can still win the Super Bowl this season, but no matter what happens, expect something to be done about the WRs in the offseason.

Bleacher Report's Gary Davenport has an idea: He writes that the Bills should trade for A.J. Brown.

Brown and the Philadelphia Eagles' season just ended Sunday with a loss to the 49ers.

It was a bumpy season for Brown, who wasn't happy with his targets most of the campaign, but he's still a top-notch wideout.

Brown has a no-trade clause, but it seems likely he'd waive that to join a contender like Buffalo with a quarterback like Allen.

"Many will complain that Josh Allen's prime is being wasted by the lack of a true go-to wideout," Davenport writes. "They aren't completely wrong. Making the money work wouldn't be easy—the Bills are already upside-down against the projected 2026 salary cap. But moving from one Super Bowl contender to another and (with all due respect to Jalen Hurts) an upgrade at quarterback should appeal to Brown."

The Bills are happily set in the slot with Khalil Shakir, who caught all 12 of his targets in Sunday's win over the Jaguars.

But they'll gladly take an upgrade out wide. Brown would be as good a receiver as Allen has had, along with the days with Stefon Diggs. It's worth pursuing for the Bills if Brown indeed goes on the trade block.
