TL;DR

  • Buffalo Bills face a quick turnaround Thursday Night Football game against Houston Texans.
  • Key Buffalo Bills players Dalton Kincaid, Mecole Hardman, and Curtis Samuel are out.
  • Houston Texans will be without quarterback C.J. Stroud due to concussion protocol.
  • Davis Mills will start at quarterback for the Texans for the third consecutive game.

The Buffalo Bills have the classically difficult quick turnaround this week.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were defeated on Sunday in a high-scoring 44-32 contest. Week 12 has arrived, featuring a Thursday Night Football matchup against the Houston Texans.

The Bills will have to try and take care of business while shorthanded.

The Bills revealed on Wednesday that tight end Dalton Kincaid will miss another game due to ongoing issues with a hamstring injury.

Without Kincaid, it'll again be Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes holding down the TE duties.

The Bills also ruled out two wide receivers: Mecole Hardman and Curtis Samuel.

Samuel has been in and out of the lineup all season.

Hardman, a three-time Super Bowl champion from the Chiefs, played his first game for Buffalo on Sunday, having signed the week prior. His debut was marked by several notable events.

The first touch for Hardman was a 61-yard kickoff return. But he later lost a fumble in the return game, and then he got hurt.

The Bills will likely have Keon Coleman back after his benching Sunday, although he hasn't been a big contributor this season, anyway.

The Texans will also be short-handed in this contest. Quarterback C.J. Stroud remains sidelined due to concussion protocol. For the third consecutive start, Davis Mills will be under center for Houston.
