The Buffalo Bills slumped to a horror 30-13 loss to the Miami Dolphins as Josh Allen and Co. Struggled to get anything going, and the AFC East champs now look extremely shaky.

Plus, the defense gave up 197 rushing yards, while the offense had multiple self-inflicted wounds, including an Allen and James Cook fumble, and it was capped off by a red-zone interception from Josh to compound Buffalo's pain.

While the loss was bad, it also marked the end of an impressive streak as the New England Patriots extended their lead at the top of the division.

The Bills' loss to Miami was the first time Allen had lost to the Dolphins since Week 3 of 2022 (21-19).

That's just rubbing salt into the wounds.

Bills need offense to find mojo

Granted, that might sound odd for a team that hung 40 points on the Carolina Panthers two weeks ago and then beat the Kansas City Chiefs playing perhaps their best game in recent memory.

But if we take the Chiefs game out, the Bills, in the first half against the Panthers, were poor, and the two games prior, Buffalo lost.

So, in reality, the Bills have played one good game in their last five. Although that was against the Chiefs, so maybe that carries a little more weight.

Either way, the Bills are now in a tough spot as it pertains to the division, as the Patriots are now a couple of games clear, along with owning the tie-breaker over Buffalo.

The offense was superb in the first month of the season, but over the last five weeks, it has been plagued by inconsistencies. And if they want to make it six division titles in a row, something substantial has to change.
