Josh Allen wasn't viewed as a sure thing coming out of college.
He had moments at Wyoming, yes, but he also had inconsistencies. So when the Buffalo Bills took Allen as their potential franchise QB, it wasn't a unanimously believed-in move.
Allen has clearly proven to be the right decision.
He was the MVP last season, and he's got an argument as the best football player on the planet.
This week, for whatever reason, a highlight of Allen's college days at Wyoming has gone viral.
It is providing fans with prove to believe that Allen was always going to be this special.
And viewed in retrospect, it's kind of an astounding play:
NFL teams really saw this and were like “yup, that’s the 3rd best QB in this draft”

Maybe there was some concern about how that would translate to the NFL.
Allen also had to make major strides to his throwing accuracy once he got to the league.
But all told, Allen always had special traits. The Bills are certainly glad that they saw them and gave him a shot, because he's been everything they could've ever hoped for.
