The Buffalo Bills moved to 4-0 on the season after a 31-19 win over the New Orleans Saints at Highmark Stadium, and once again, it was James Cook, not Josh Allen, who was the star of the show.

Cook rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown, which marks the third straight game reaching triple digits and makes it four straight games of scoring a rushing touchdown as he set a franchise record for most consecutive games with a touchdown, which now stands at eight dating back to last season.

Fresh off a bumper new contract this offseason, Cook continues to plow ahead and be one of Buffalo's best offensive weapons, and his quarterback has delivered quite the statement about his running back.

“It seems like he's getting better each and every week, which is hard to imagine," Allen said. "The way that he has this patient to hit the hole, but when he hits it, he is shot out of a cannon. His contact balance is unbelievable, his jump cuts are awesome.  I'm glad he's on our team.”

Is Cook Buffalo's best offensive weapon?

Make no mistake, Allen is No. 1, but Cook is a very close second, given his ability as a runner, but also his abilities as a receiver, posting 18 yards from three receptions against the Saints.

Given how many weapons are at Joe Brady's disposal, it is easy to see why the Bills have scored 30+ points in each game this season, and when you can run it with Cook 20+ times for over 100 yards, or let Allen use his handful of receiving weapons, Buffalo is perhaps the most dangerous offense in football.

Four years at $48 million looks like an absolute steal for Cook right now, and Allen is right, James seems to be getting better with each passing week.

And that's a scary thing for the NFL.
