The Buffalo Bills' 44-32 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was good for a host of reasons, but perhaps the most underrated one was that Josh Allen might have found a new favorite weapon.
With Keon Coleman forced to sit after being late to a team meeting, and Khalil Shakir not having the sort of impact we are used to seeing from him, others had to step up -- and they did.
In particular, it was Tyrell Shavers who led the Bills in yards (90) and receptions (four) to be a driving force for Buffalo's pass game.
But what was interesting was to see the trust level Allen has with Tyrell, and it was on show several times in Week 11.
“It's so high because I've watched him for years just come out and work extremely hard,” Allen said. “He's one of the last people to leave the practice field. Anytime I want to throw extra, he's always out there. He does the little things the right way in the run game, doing some of the dirty work for us.
"He's an extremely positive person, but he works extremely hard. He's still learning and growing in this game, and it's been awesome to see how he's progressed in his career. I still think there's a lot of room to grow with him.”

Shavers' career day a warning to Coleman
Listening to how Allen is talking about Shavers is how the Bills want him to talk about Keon, but the second-year receiver is still going through some growing pains.
As such, it has been Shavers, also in his second year, who has now gotten more snaps, and on Sunday, he made the most of them as he also grabbed a touchdown.
Having been used fleetingly this season, with Coleman sidelined, potentially for Week 12 against the Houston Texans as well, Shavers has a chance to consolidate his spot at the pointy end of the receiver depth chart.
It is clear Allen trusts him, and Sunday was evidence of that, and that is the one thing this offense needs more of: No. 17 to trust his weapons.
And if Shavers continues this sort of form, who knows what it might mean for Coleman down the road.
