The Buffalo Bills have two players getting fined ahead of the Week 10 game against the Miami Dolphins.

According to ESPN's Alaina Getzenberg, both quarterback Josh Allen and wide receiver Elijah Moore have been fined $14,491 and $13,888, respectively.

The punishment stems from a violent gesture the pair made following on of Allen's touchdowns in the Week 9 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

"Bills QB Josh Allen and WR Elijah Moore were each fined for this celebration after Allen's touchdown vs. The Chiefs. Allen was fined $14,491 and Moore was fined $13,888 for unsportsmanlike conduct (violent gesture)," Getzenberg wrote.

Based on the video, it looks as though Allen and Moore did a quick throat slash — but clearly it wasn't quick enough and the NFL still caught it on video.

This is all part of the league's crackdown on excessive and inappropriate touchdown celebrations in recent years, which includes fines for violent and sexual gestures.

The most common gesture that gets players fined is making any kind of gun or shooting gesture.

We saw Carolina Panthers running back Rico Dowdle get a punishment for his "double pump" touchdown celebration in Week 9 that paid homage to a "Key & Peele" skit. The NFL didn't get the joke, though, and still hit Dowdle with a fine.

Allen signed a $330 million contract extension in March, so this is pennies for him. Moore is making $2.5 million this season, so the fine isn't as insignificant an amount of money as it is for Allen, but he should be just fine.
