Buffalo Bills receiver Tyrell Shavers took his opportunity with both hands against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a 44-32 win.

With Keon Coleman out for disciplinary reasons, it was Shavers who saw his snap count increase, and he made the most of it. He posted 90 yards and a touchdown from four receptions, with his trust and chemistry with Josh Allen on show in the win.

And offensive coordinator Joe Brady subtly hinted that Shavers got an increased workload due to Coleman being out.

“It was a interesting end to the week and he made the most of all his opportunities,” Brady said. “When people talk about everybody eats mindset, I've always said it's never about the production, it's about just doing your job, good things come your way, and that's Tyrell Shavers.

“Does a lot of the dirty work in the run game, might not get all the opportunities in the pass game, but he had opportunities and he made the most of it. We're so grateful to him, what he means to our offense, and I was so excited to see him score a touchdown."

Shavers now establishing himself in Bills offense?

Brady has sung Shavers' praises, so too Josh Allen, with both talking about how the second-year receiver is doing all the right things, and he's been rewarded with snaps, and he's taking advantage of those snaps.

Given Keon's current situation, it isn't known if he will suit up against the Houston Texans this week, with head coach Sean McDermott stating "we'll see," so Shavers could be in line to get another healthy dose of snaps on Thursday night.

And if he takes his opportunity again, plays well, puts up yards, and continues his current form, it will be hard to displace him in the offense.

He's been a bit-part player this season, but now that he's finally getting his chance, Shavers is doing what Coleman doesn't, and it's making everyone take notice inside the Bills facility.
