How Bills' HC hire might have saved Keon Coleman image

The Buffalo Bills have landed on their new head coach, and it is one I thought they should have hired: Joe Brady.

A simple promotion for Buffalo's offensive coordinator sees Josh Allen keep the main voice in his ear for another season, with the Bills having one of the best offenses in football.

So Allen is no doubt happy. But one other player might be as well, and that's Keon Coleman.

After Bills owner Terry Pegula threw Keon under the bus during that train wreck of a press conference, some thought the young receiver might ask for a trade. He still might, but with Brady now the head coach and likely still calling plays, Keon might have second thoughts.

If there's one person in the Bills building who knows what talent Coleman has and how to get the most out of him, it's Brady.

Could Keon stay with Bills?

Well, for one, he's under contract, and after Pegula's comments, we aren't sure how big a market would be for Keon if he were put up for trade.

Plus, Buffalo's receiver options aren't the best, and Coleman might have the fire in his belly to prove his owner wrong.

And there's no doubt Brady knows how to get him the ball.

It wasn't a great few weeks for Coleman, none of which was his own doing, but Brady being the head coach might give him a new lease on his football life.

Is a revenge season loading?
