The Buffalo Bills are gearing up for a matchup with Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 14. Josh Allen is 0-2 against Burrow in his career, with his only win against the Bengals coming back in 2019.
Despite the success of the run game in Week 13 against the Pittsburgh Steelers where the Bills ran for 249 yards, the passing game has had a rough season. Buffalo has one of the least explosive offenses in the NFL, which makes the signing of Josh Palmer look worse and worse by the week.
Buffalo signed the former Charger to a three-year, $29 million deal in the offseason in hopes of him being the guy who took the top off the defense. Instead, he has caught just 18 passes and has yet to reach the end zone. Additionally, Palmer has missed four games, and it looks like he will may miss another. Head coach Sean McDermott says that Palmer won't be practicing on Wednesday.
“He’s not in the best place in terms of his body and injury," McDermott said via Dan Fetes.
Palmer has been dealing with an ankle injury, which caused him to miss a month of action.
