Bills vs. Browns weather forecast presents major concern for QBs, pass-catchers, kickers image

The Buffalo Bills will take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 16 and there is one big concern when it comes to the weather forecast.

This is the time of year where weather can play a significant role in the outcome of games. Things like wind, rain, snow and cold temperatures can all have a negative impact on player performances.

When it comes to Sunday's contest between the Bills and Browns at Huntington Bank Field, wind could be a huge factor.

Let's take a closer look.

Bills vs. Browns weather forecast

According to AccuWeather.com, the expected high for the contest between Buffalo and Cleveland is 30 degrees, but we aren't too concerned about the cold, as both squads are used to playing in this kind of weather.

More good news is the fact that there is no precipitation is expected, so we don't have to worry about poor footing and a bad grip on the football.

The concern comes from the wind.

Gusts are expected to reach anywhere from 40-45 MPH during the contest, which can have a serious impact on the passing attacks and kicking games of both teams.

Typically, gusts exceeding 20 or so MPH can make it tougher for the ball to travel through the air, and the forecast for Bills-Browns calls for about double that.

That means things could be much harder on Josh Allen and Shedeur Sanders and all of their pass-catchers, and kickers Michael Badgley and Andre Szmyt will also have a tougher time with field goals and extra points.

On the flip side, this presents a more favorable situation for running backs James Cook and Quinshon Judkins, both of whom could see more work if the passing games are seriously impacted.

Of course, you aren't sitting Allen, no matter what, but fantasy owners may want to rethink starting pass-catchers and kickers from either team who are just borderline starting options.
