The Buffalo Bills have made several additions to their defensive line this offseason, both in free agency and the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Bills signed edge rusher Joey Bosa to be their potential game-wrecker off the edge. They also added veterans Michael Hoecht and Larry Ogunjobi. When the draft came around, the Bills spent three straight picks on defensive linemen in rounds 2-4. They selected T.J. Sanders, Landon Jackson, and Deone Walker.

With all the new additions, there will be names on the chopping block, Randy Gurzi of Sports Illustrated says DaQuan Jones could be one of those names who could be cut.

"DaQuan Jones has been named a cut candidate throughout the offseason, due to his $9.4 million salary," Gurzi writes. "The Bills could save $5.5 million by moving on, and they used two draft picks on defensive tackles making this a possibility."

Jones will turn 34 during the season, and the Bills would save money by cutting him. It feels like a forgone conclusion that he will be one of those players who is left behind by Buffalo.
