Just days after former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Chase Claypool announced his intention to make an NFL comeback, another former Bill has done the same.
ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reports that running back and return specialist Nyheim Hines is looking to return to the NFL.
"Nearly two years to the date that he tore his ACL in a jet-ski accident, Nyheim Hines is looking for a chance to play in his first NFL game since 2022, when he returned two kicks for touchdowns in the same game for the Bills," Schefter said on X. "Hines believes his knee finally is ready for a return to action and he is looking for a new training camp home."
Hines returned the opening kick for a touchdown against the New England Patriots in the first game following the Damar Hamlin incident that took place in Cincinnati where the young safety nearly lost his life.
For his career, Hines has 10 rushing touchdowns and 1,202 yards rushing. He also has eight receiving touchdowns on 240 career catches, and also has four career return touchdowns (two punt, two kicks).
