The Buffalo Bills are making a massive change at head coach, with the team reportedly firing Sean McDermott on Monday.
The decision comes just days after the Bills' disappointing playoff loss to the Denver Broncos on Saturday that was just the latest earler-than-expected playoff exit on McDermott's watch.
Now, the question is: will the Bills retain general manager Brandon Beane?
Here's what we know.
Will Bills fire Brandon Beane?
According to ESPN's Alaina Getzenberg, the Bills are going to retain general manager Brandon Beane despite McDermott getting the boot. Beane will also lead the search for McDermott's replacement.
"Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane is being retained, per source. He will help lead the team's search for a new coach."
The Bills keeping Beane shows they blame the Bills' failures on McDermott rather than their general manager. Clearly, they don't view Beane as a problem.
However, they should.
Beane had a bad offseason filled with multiple failed free-agent signings, and his recent draft classes haven't been great, either.
The Bills needed to hit the reset button at both head coach and general manager.
Instead, Beane survives and will now try to find a replacement for a coach who posted a.662 win percentage over nine seasons.
