All-Pro safety drops bombshell on Bills, names Buffalo as team he wants to join image

The Buffalo Bills look to be running back the exact same safety group that they had in 2024. They re-signed Damar Hamlin, and still have Cole Bishop and Taylor Rapp under contract, as well. However, one safety made it clear he would like to join the Buffalo Bills, and he is a heavy hitter at the position.

Joining Up & Adams,  All-Pro safety Justin Simmons named the Bills as a team he would like to join.

"The only attractiveness [for a team] is a team that's gonna give themselves a chance to go to the playoffs and go win," Simmons said. "As much as I'll always be a Denver Bronco, I know the eight years I was there were rough. And not having a playoff appearance, especially coming off that Super Bowl they had [was hard]. Choosing Atlanta thinking there was a shot there in the division... Teams like Buffalo, Philly, Cincinnati - teams like that that have always been in the mix... It would be special."

Simmons is a four-time Second-Team All-Pro selection. Since entering the league in 2016, he has been one of the best safeties in the NFL, leading the league in interceptions in 2022. Should the Bills be able to add him to the back end of their defense, it would be incredibly beneficial, especially considering the success he's had against Patrick Mahomes. The former Bronco has intercepted Mahomes six times in his career.
