Why is Lamar Jackson wearing gloves?

Lamar Jackson is wearing gloves simply because it's cold.

Kickoff temperature in Cincinnati on Sunday was expected to be in the single digits.

Jackson is not viewed as a particularly successful cold weather QB in his career. He's also been struggling of late.
