Victoria’s Voice Foundation will host its 2025 Annual Gala on Sunday, December 14, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. At Ice Palace Studios in Miami.
A night that brings football fans, families, and a community together
The Orlando-based nonprofit continues to raise awareness about the dangers of drugs and give families real tools to protect their kids.
The foundation was created by Jackie Siegel and her late husband, David Siegel, after losing their daughter Victoria to an accidental overdose at 18. In the years since, their mission has reached more than 1.5 million children and parents across the country.
Honoring Ray Lewis, one of the greatest to ever play defense
For football fans, the centerpiece of the night will be the honoring of Ray Lewis, now 50 years old and still one of the most respected players to ever step onto an NFL field.
Lewis spent his entire career with the Baltimore Ravens, playing 228 games and finishing his run with a Super Bowl win in the 2012 season. He was the heartbeat of the franchise, the emotional spark, and the kind of leader players still talk about years later. His pregame speeches, his on-field fire, and his ability to take over a game made him a legend in Baltimore and across the league.
Before all of that, he was a star for the Miami Hurricanes, helping build the program’s tough, physical identity that fans still remember today. That Miami connection makes this award in the city even more meaningful.
A new mission fueled by personal loss
Lewis’s impact now goes beyond football. After losing his son in 2023, he shifted his purpose toward helping young people find support, direction, and hope. Through his Ray of Hope Foundation, he focuses on mental health, suicide prevention, and strong mentorship.
Victoria’s Voice will present him with the David Siegel Legacy Award as a tribute to his efforts to guide young people long after his playing days ended.
Recognizing partners who help save lives
The gala will also honor two major supporters of the foundation’s work.
Emergent BioSolutions, the maker of NARCAN Nasal Spray, will receive the Victoria’s Voice Corporate Hero Award for expanding access to overdose reversal medication.
Dan Newlin will receive the Mission Hero Award for his consistent support of the foundation’s prevention and education programs.
A cause bigger than football
While football fans will enjoy seeing Ray Lewis honored, the heart of the night is about saving lives. The opioid crisis continues to affect families everywhere, and Victoria’s Voice is committed to giving parents and communities better tools to fight it.
All money raised at the gala will go directly into prevention education, awareness programs, and resources that can help save lives in emergencies.
