Mike Evans doesn't seem likely to leave the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Does he?
Well, he's a free agent, so he's got that opportunity. And the Bucs did recently give a sizable contract to Chris Godwin, and they've got Emeka Egbuka and Jalen McMillan, too.
Evans has been entirely linked to the Buccaneers since he entered the NFL. What if he wanted to try something new?
"It wouldn't really be the Buccaneers without Mike Evans, right?" CBS Sports writer Zachary Perales wrote in a new article.
MORE: The Josh Allen reason the Bills are hiring Joe Brady as head coach
Perales floats two alternatives: the Baltimore Ravens and the Buffalo Bills.
Both AFC contenders could use a big-bodied, red-zone target like Evans.
The Ravens have a dynamic smaller receiver, Zay Flowers. Evans would add an entirely different type of target for Lamar Jackson.
The Bills also have their best receiver as a little guy, slot man Khalil Shakir. Buffalo might be even more shorthanded as far as perimeter weapons. Josh Allen would sure love someone like Evans on his team.

It doesn't seem likely, but it'll be fascinating to watch the rumors on this one. If buzz picks up that Evans is looking to go elsewhere, all of a sudden, the league's top contenders will start to go after him.
Evans could be the difference in helping a top team win a Super Bowl, if he makes the unexpected decision to leave Tampa Bay.
