The Baltimore Ravens have won five games in a row and have moved to 6-5; the playoffs are well and truly on the agenda now, but the team has to get there first.

And standing in their way in Week 13 is Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals as the two AFC North rivals get ready for a Thanksgiving Day game at M&T Bank Stadium in what promises to be a colossal contest.

For most players, the chance to play on Thanksgiving is a great thing to be able to do, but in Lamar Jackson's case, the two-time MVP winner had a rather funny response when asked his thoughts on playing on Thanksgiving.

“I'd rather be sitting down watching football, eating, chilling with my family,” a smiling Lamar said. “But it's great to play on Thanksgiving. First time playing on Thanksgiving, so it's going to be different for me. Usually I'm watching, eating, but playing, looking forward to it.”

Ravens face defining stretch starting with Bengals

At 6-5, the Ravens are tied for first place in the AFC North with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and with John Harbaugh's team still to play Pittsburgh twice, a lot is on the line for Baltimore.

Plus, with Burrow back for the Bengals, this game now takes on a whole new look, and as we know, AFC North battles aren't for the faint-hearted.

The Ravens' season is very much on the line here, and a lot of hard work has been done to get back to this point with their head is above water; the last thing they will want is for them to slip up against a Bengals team that they should be beating.

Lamar would rather be eating than playing on Thanksgiving, but he has a chance to really put his team in a great playoff position with a win on Thursday.
