Don't bet against Lamar Jackson.

Seriously. Don't do it.

There's no quarterback better as a betting underdog in NFL history than the Baltimore Ravens superstar.

According to ESPN's Jamison Hensley, Jackson has played 15 games as a betting underdog in his NFL career.

In those games:

  • Jackson is 10-5 outright
  • Jackson is 12-2-1 against the spread

The 10-5 record in games as a betting underdog is an NFL record, according to Hensley.

And this is relevant this week because the Buffalo Bills have opened up as slight favorites for Sunday Night Football against the Ravens, essentially just holding the edge due to the home-field advantage cooked into betting lines.

It's going to be an incredible matchup regardless.

It's MVP vs. MVP with Jackson against Josh Allen.

It's the two teams most favored to potentially knock off the Kansas City Chiefs and be the AFC's new representative in the Super Bowl.

And to have it come in Week 1, in a national slot on Sunday night, after our first full day of NFL football of the year, will be a brilliant spectacle.

Bills fans certainly won't want to hear it, but Jackson has the numbers working in his favor for this one.
