Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews made headlines this week after signing his three-year, $39 million deal that keeps one of the NFL's best tight ends in the AFC North.
But not everyone was thrilled with the news.
Why? Because of what it could mean for young tight end Isaiah Likely, who is also in a contract year and was thought to be the heir to Andrews' throne in Baltimore.
But not now.
However, if you expected a little bit of sadness on Likely's part, you couldn't be more wrong.
"Love Mark, I'm gassed," Likely said. "I was one to text him, telling him big bro, I love you. Proud of you, keep going, we got more work to do this year."

Is Likely worried about his future?
Many have seen the extension of Andrews for three years as a signal that Likely could be on the move in the offseason as a free agent.
Given his potential, there will be no shortage of suitors who will be willing to pay him the sort of money Andrews just got from Baltimore.
But does Likely think about his future a little more now?
"I just watched my brother get paid, I just see joy," Likely added. "Just living in the moment, knowing that [we] got everything in front of us. Try to win Super Bowl this year, one game at a time, one opponent at a time, and knowing that, I let the rest take care of itself."
So Likely has the best response to his fellow tight end getting paid, when it would have been easy to go the other direction, but that isn't how Isaiah rolls.
And now, the Ravens can look ahead to the next month with a clear vision as they look to make the postseason.
