The Baltimore Ravens did what most knew they needed to do against the Chicago Bears, and that was to win.

It didn't matter how it looked or by how much, as long as the Ravens' record improved to 2-5 and that faint glimmer of hope this team can make the playoffs was alive and well with Lamar Jackson's return looming.

The 30-16 win was just what the doctor ordered as Tyler Huntley was efficient at quarterback, and Derrick Henry rumbled for 71 yards and two touchdowns to keep the Ravens' season alive.

For CBS Sports' John Breech, the Ravens, who were in a do-or-die moment as far as it pertains to their season, get an "A-" grade for beating Chicago.

"With no Lamar Jackson, the Ravens won this game the old-fashioned way: By running the ball and playing good defense,” Breech writes. “The Ravens are 2-5, but they have a very real chance of winning the AFC North, especially if Jackson is back on the field for Thursday's game against the Dolphins.”

When will Jackson return from injury?

Well, some thought against the Bears.

Now, head coach John Harbaugh has given an injury update that will ease all fears for Ravens fans everywhere, stating that Lamar is set to return against the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night.

"I feel very confident," Harbaugh said. "We expect him to be out there Thursday night."

So, there you have it. No. 8 will most likely suit up against the Dolphins as the Ravens desperately need to string some wins together, and sitting at 2-5, the urgency is high, and the margin for error is gone.

No pressure, Lamar.
