The Baltimore Ravens need a new head coach for the first time in nearly two decades.
They parted ways with John Harbaugh on Tuesday night in a decision that was speculated about but still shocking when it came across social media.
Now, they'll have quite the desirable gig. Lamar Jackson as a quarterback, with lots of talent around him, would be a great place to start for a new hire.
And if the Ravens want to have a sense of humor about the whole thing? They'd hire Kevin Stefanski.
MORE: Why Browns' nightmare QB history doomed Kevin Stefanski
Stefanski was just let go by the Browns after six seasons at the helm. He paid the price for an ownership and GM regime that executed the worst trade in NFL history (Deshaun Watson). Both of them are still in place, but Stefanski's inability to win more games with a terrible roster was punished.
You can tell how highly the rest of the NFL thinks about Stefanski because he's already getting interviews this week. Clearly, other teams are glad the Browns let him go.
It's not immediately clear where the Ravens will go yet, but Stefanski would be a quality hire for any team. He's a solid leader and a great offensive mind.
It'd also extend some serious narrative juice for Baltimore.

The Ravens, of course, were the original Cleveland Browns before they left town.
And Stefanski, if he went to Baltimore, would get to face the Browns twice a year and show just how good a coach he really is.
The Ravens may already have a clear target to be confident in letting go of their head coach of 18 seasons, and it very well may not be Stefanski.
But if it was, that'd be quite the amusing outcome.
