The Baltimore Ravens made the surprising decision to fire long-time head coach John Harbaugh on Tuesday.

This comes after the Ravens' loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night, leaving them with a final record of 8-9 and out of the postseason.

Harbaugh will certainly land on his feet with another team this hiring cycle, and he has the vocal support of the current President of the United States.

President Trump tells NFL teams to hire John Harbaugh

President Donald Trump took to social media to proclaim his support for the former Ravens head coach.

"HIRE JOHN HARBAUGH, FAST," Trump said via Truth Social. "HE, AND HIS BROTHER, ARE TOTAL WINNERS!!"

The Harbaugh brothers paid a visit to the President last July.

"It was amazing," Harbaugh said of the visit. "It was awesome. And I promise you I root for our president. I want our president to be successful just like I want my quarterback to be successful and I want my team to be successful, and it was an amazing experience."

Harbaugh reportedly has close to 10 teams interested in hiring him, meaning teams with head coaches are at least entertaining the idea of firing their current guy to hire Harbaugh.

The New York Giants are reported to be very interested in the Super Bowl-winning head coach, who is reported to begin taking meetings and interviews by the end of the week.
