Mel Kiper Jr predicts Ravens will draft top wide receiver to pair with Lamar Jackson image

The Baltimore Ravens are going to look very different than what we've grown used to. After 18 seasons, the team fired head coach John Harbaugh following an 8-9 season that saw the Ravens miss the playoffs.

The Ravens have since hired Los Angeles Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter to be their next head coach. Now comes the hiring of a coaching staff, and subsequent additions of players through free agency and the 2026 NFL Draft.

The draft is a mere three months away, which means Mel Kiper Jr. Has put out his first mock draft of the year, and he has the Ravens selecting USC wide receiver Maki Lemon.

"Lemon is one of my favorite prospects in this class," Kiper writes. "He attacks the ball in the air, and you can see his competitiveness in the way he plays the game. Like Zay Flowers, he's on the smaller side at 5-foot-11 and 195 pounds. But also like Flowers, he still has inside-outside flexibility. Lemon went for 1,156 yards and 11 touchdowns this past season, and that kind of production could help get Lamar Jackson back to MVP levels."

Lemon is coming off a season in which he caught 79 passes for 1,156 yards and 11 touchdowns with the Trojans. Considering the Ravens lack of threats at receiver outside of Zay Flowers, this would be a home run if their top goal is loading up the offense with play-makers around Lamar Jackson.
