The Baltimore Ravens came so close to keeping their season alive, but a missed Tyler Loop field goal as time expired doomed Lamar Jackson and Co.

After trading touchdown passes, late in the fourth quarter, the Ravens converted a fourth-and-seven to set up a game-winning field goal for kicker Tyler Loop.

With everything on the line, Loop's kick missed wide right, and with it, the Ravens' season went down the drain.

And it is also another year where the Ravens, under John Harbaugh and Lamar, failed to get to the Super Bowl.

A 1-5 start to the season left the Ravens swimming against the tide, and with everything on the line, Baltimore's entire season went up in smoke.

What's next for John Harbaugh?

After years of playoff failure, many were questioning what Harbaugh's future would look like if Baltimore didn't win the Super Bowl in 2025, let alone not make the playoffs.

Now, it isn't likely that the Ravens move on from Harbaugh, but for some, the question has to at least be asked.

Failure after failure, something, eventually, has to give.

What that will be, we aren't sure, but this is a huge gut punch to the Ravens after they put so much energy into getting themselves back into contention.

The Super Bowl wait for Lamar continues.
