Anytime a big event happens in the sports world these days, it's safe to expect some parody posts about it, too.
The latest is Lamar Jackson's injury, which kept him out for most of the second half of the Baltimore Ravens' loss Sunday to the Kansas City Chiefs.
It has spawned a variety of untrue posts on social media.
Some are proclaiming that the Ravens have been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs, which is simply not true. At 1-3, it's not an ideal start, but they've still got 13 games to play.
Jackson's injury is more concerning because a hamstring problem can linger. But it's also not as bad as some posts are saying.

Is Lamar Jackson out for the season?
No, Lamar Jackson is not out for the season.
A viral post on Instagram says that is the case and credits it to ESPN insider Adam Schefter, but Jackson being out for the season with a torn ACL is fake news.
Jackson isn't even ruled out for Week 5. The NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported on Tuesday that Jackson is "up in the air" for Baltimore's matchup with Houston.
Ravens coach John Harbaugh did say Jackson was too injured to return to the matchup with the Chiefs, but he's got this week to try and get ready for a bounce-back game.
And it's a long season. Jackson will be around for most of it, at the very least.
