TL;DR

  • Lamar Jackson is on the Ravens' injury report with a toe issue, continuing a pattern of missing Monday practices.
  • Jackson is expected to play on Thanksgiving Day against the Cincinnati Bengals despite recent injury concerns.
  • The Ravens' offense has struggled since Jackson's return from a hamstring injury, with lower passing yards and points.
  • Baltimore has won five straight games, including four since Jackson's comeback, but against weaker opponents.

Another week, another injury for Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Jackson is once again on the Ravens' injury report this week, but this time it's because of a toe issue. Jackson was a non-participant on the team's estimated injury report on Monday.

Jackson's absence from practice on Monday marks a continuation of a three-week pattern.

In Week 11, Jackson sat on Wednesday because of a knee issue. Last week, it was an ankle injury.

Although a low turnout for practice at the start of the week would typically be worrying, that's not an issue for Jackson, as this has become his usual pattern. He's fully anticipated to play on Thanksgiving Day versus the Cincinnati Bengals.

Since returning from a hamstring injury, Jackson and the Ravens' offense haven't been performing at their peak.

In his last four contests, Jackson has surpassed 200 passing yards just one time, averaging 25.2 points each game during that period.

During the three weeks preceding Jackson's injury, he achieved over 200 passing yards each game, with The Ravens scoring an average of 37 points per contest.

Despite their circumstances, the Ravens continue to secure victories, currently boasting a five-game winning streak, with four of those wins occurring after Jackson's comeback.

But those four wins have also come against the Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, Cleveland Browns and New York Jets.

Baltimore is going to need more if they're going to beat better teams.
