OUCH.

That is really all you can say about the Baltimore Ravens' loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football. Fortunately for Baltimore, the season is long, because Week 1 ended ugly.

On a night that really was strong for Baltimore until the final three minutes of the game, following the affair, a really embarrassing state was revealed on Ravens head coach John Harbaugh.

The 62-year-old has 172 regular-season wins as a head coach in the National Football League. Harbaugh has 13 more in the postseason. He won a Super Bowl and has been named the Associated Press NFL Coach of the Year before.

He has Lamar Jackson as his quarterback. He has Derrick Henry as his running back. He has a team that scored 40 points in the opener.... And he lost.

Not only did Harbaugh's team blow a double-digit lead in Week 1, but it was the 17th time in his coaching history that his team has blown a double-digit lead and lost.

Whether it is happen stance. a fluke, or some odd decisions late in the game, the stat is mind-boggling, and will haunt the head coach.

For the 2025 season, Baltimore will quickly need to turn things around, as the AFC is not going to wait around for them. Buffalo looks to be the class, Kansas City has been there and done that year after year, Cincinnati in their own division will be knocking, and Pittsburgh has a Hall of Famer under center.

The Ravens' next chance comes Sunday at home against the Cleveland Browns.
