The Baltimore Ravens' 23-10 win over the New York Jets kept their playoff hopes alive and moved John Harbaugh's team to 6-5 on the year.

But not only that, due to the Ravens' sensational winning streak that now stands at five, and the Pittsburgh Steelers again stuttering, Baltimore is now tied for the lead in the AFC North.

That is some sentence, folks, especially after the 1-5 start Baltimore had.

But how does Harbaugh feel about now being at the top of the division?

"Well, it feels great,” Harbaugh said. “But it's halfway done, season's not over. We play four, we play the Steelers twice, and we play the Bengals twice in the next few weeks. So that's going to be it right there, and starting Thursday night, we've got no time really to rest.

"We've got to go to work on the Bengals, and we know what that's like, how challenging that is. We'll be ready to go.”

Ravens face defining six-week stretch

While Ravens fans can feel good about where their team is right now, we issue a word of warning about the upcoming slate of games -- it's going to be tough.

Baltimore faces the Bengals and Steelers twice, along with the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots, to close out its season. That is a brutal end to the year, but at least the Ravens are in good form right now, and will likely go into every one of those games in a positive mindset.

A lot of hard work has been done to get the Ravens' head above water, but now the toughest part of their schedule is in front of them, and the task couldn't be simpler.

Win, and playoffs are secured, but lose, and the season might end the way it started...badly.
