The Baltimore Ravens are having a rough 2025 campaign, as the team sits at 6-7 with just four games remaining and is no longer in control of the AFC North after a Week 14 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Due to Baltimore's underwhelming performance this year, head coach John Harbaugh has been under fire. The 2019 AP Coach of the Year hasn't done much to elevate his talented roster, and it could be time for the Ravens to move in a different direction at head coach after winning just three playoff games since 2015.
Moving on from Harbaugh and starting a new era could be a course of action for Baltimore this offseason, but ESPN's Jeremy Fowler expects the long-time Ravens coach to keep his job heading into the 2026 season.
However, Fowler does mention that there seems to be a disconnect between Baltimore and their performance under Harbaugh in 2025.
"The Ravens are really interesting. That would qualify as a pretty major surprise, and while I think Harbaugh stays, something seems off there," Fowler wrote.
Given his history with the franchise and the Ravens still being in playoff contention, the odds are Harbaugh will remain the head coach. However, there's no denying that his seat is getting a bit warmer.
If Baltimore misses the postseason with the amount of talent on its roster, it will be a terrible look for Harbaugh, who is widely considered one of the best coaches in football.
The Ravens will square off against the Cincinnati Bengals on the road this Sunday. Though it may look like just a regular divisional game, a loss would crush Baltimore's playoff hopes and signal that change is needed.
