When is Drake London coming back? Latest injury update on Atlanta Falcons WR image

The Atlanta Falcons will be without their top weapon in the passing game in Week 12, as wide receiver Drake London has been ruled out.

London sustained a left knee injury in Week 11 that was later diagnosed as a PCL issue. Thankfully, the issue is not considered a long-term injury.

However, London was unable to practice at all ahead of the Week 12 game against the New Orleans Saints before he was officially ruled out on Friday.

Here's what we know about his return timeline.

When is Drake London coming back?

While London has not been ruled out for Week 13 yet, he is considered week to week, so there's a real possibility he misses a second game.

Another bad sign for next week was London's lack of practice participation.

Adding even more pessimism, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that London could potentially miss more than one game with his knee issue.

With the Falcons looking dead in the water when it comes to the playoffs, we would suspect Atlanta won't rush one of its most important players back.

Taking everything into account, we'd suspect London has a better chance to sit than play in Week 13.

London isn't the only key player the Falcons are missing, as quarterback Michael Penix Jr. Sustained a partially torn ACL in Week 11 that will knock him out for the remainder of the season, leaving fellow signal-caller Kirk Cousins as the starter.

With London sidelined, the Falcons are going to need more out of wide receiver Darnell Mooney and tight end Kyle Pitts.

Mooney has a good history with Cousins, but the same cannot be said for Pitts.
