Kevin Stefanski-Falcons rumor is troubling development for Ravens and Titans image

The Baltimore Ravens, Tennessee Titans and Atlanta Falcons are all vying for the services of former Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski.

While there are more than just those three teams interested, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported on Friday that they were the most likely landing spots for Stefanski.

The expectation is Stefanski will take second interviews with all three teams, but it appears the Falcons are getting the first crack at him, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

"Sources: The Falcons are kicking off their second round of head coach interviews Saturday by bringing former Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski to Atlanta for another round of talks," Schefter reported.

Schefter goes on to add that Stefanski is the first candidate the Falcons are bringing in a for a second interview, which could show he is their top priority.

Adding more fuel to that belief, SNY's Connor Hughes has previously reported that Stefanski is the front-runner for the Falcons job.

And, The Athletic's Dianna Russini reported that Stefanski has even been "working behind the scenes to assemble a potential coaching staff to present to the Falcons," which shows there is clear interest on Stefanski's part, also.

While we knew this second interview between the Falcons and Stefanski was coming, it's still troubling for the Ravens and Titans.

That's because the Falcons have a situation in which they may not let Stefanski leave the building without a contract. Atlanta has already satisfied The Rooney Rule, so they can hire Stefanski right away.

If the Falcons want Stefanski bad enough and the feeling is mutual, we wouldn't be shocked if Atlanta seals the deal upon meeting with the former Browns coach.
