The Atlanta Falcons had to update their QB depth chart this week.
They've placed Michael Penix Jr. On Injured Reserve with a season-ending knee injury, and so the rest of the quarterbacks move up.
Kirk Cousins will be the new starter.
Easton Stick has been elevated to the 53-man roster.
And on the back end, the Falcons have signed a new guy: Kyle Trask.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Trask has signed to the practice squad on Wednesday.

Trask was a second-round pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2021 NFL Draft out of Florida.
The 6-foot-5 Trask is now 27 years old.
With the Bucs, Trask got into seven games but never got a start.
In NFL regular season action, Trask is 4-for-11 passing for 28 yards.

The Bucs cut Trask on Aug. 25, and he hasn't latched on with a new team until now.
Trask was a star at Florida. He finished fourth in the Heisman Trophy voting in 2020.
He was a two-year starter for the Gators who threw 25 TDs in 2019 and then 43 TDs in 2020.
Trask's passing success hasn't translated to the NFL yet. For now, he'll get his next shot way down the Falcons' depth chart in hopes of extending his football career.
