The hits just keep on coming for the Atlanta Falcons.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, wide receiver Drake London, who exited the Week 11 contest against the Carolina Panthers with a knee injury, has suffered an PCL sprain that will keep him out at least one game.
"Source: Falcons WR Drake London suffered a PCL sprain and is out this week and potentially more," Rapoport reported.
The update on London comes on the same day it was reported that quarterback Michael Penix Jr. Might have a season-ending knee injury.
Now, the Falcons will be without their top quarterback and wide receiver. Kirk Cousins will take the reins of the offense the rest of the way.
At wide receiver, the Falcons are incredibly short-handed.
Darnell Mooney now becomes the No. 1 option at wide receiver in Atlanta. The Falcons will also need more from tight end Kyle Pitts.
Behind Mooney, the Falcons have nothing but shaky options in guys like KhaDarel Hodge, Casey Washington, Jamal Agnew and David Sills.
All that said, the Falcons' season is already cooked, so it won't matter much.
Atlanta dropped to 3-7 on the season after Sunday's loss and they are now one game ahead of the New Orleans Saints for last place in the NFC South.
When it comes to the NFC playoff picture, the Falcons enter Week 12 all the way back in the No. 13 spot.
They are a full four wins out of the final playoff spot in the conference.
