Dolphins, Falcons, Ravens named top landings for 2-time award-winning head coach image

The Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons, and Baltimore Ravens are three of the many franchises looking for new head coaches in 2026.

Miami fired Mike McDaniel after a 7-10 season, while Atlanta and Baltimore also moved on from their coaches after disappointing seasons, Raheem Morris and John Harbaugh.

Harbaugh has already found a new home after his departure from the Ravens, as he is set to be the next head coach of the New York Giants.

The Dolphins, Falcons, and Ravens have conducted dozens of interviews with candidates so far, and all three teams have spoken with former Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski.

Stefanski was fired by the Cleveland Browns on January 5, but he is still highly-respected around the league and should land a head coaching gig.

Though Stefanski has interviewed with multiple franchises and will continue to receive requests, Bleacher Report's Mike Chiari lists Miami, Atlanta, and Baltimore as the top landing spots for the former Browns coach.

Here's what Chiari had to say about each franchise and how Stefanski fits:

One organization that hasn't sniffed the playoffs in quite some time is the Atlanta Falcons, and Stefanski is very much on their radar. Stefanski is a longtime offensive coach, and there is plenty to work with on that side of the ball in Atlanta. The quarterback situation is a question mark after Michael Penix Jr. Struggled and then got injured last season, but given his background, Stefanski may be better equipped than anyone else to get the most out of Penix.

Stefanski has also interviewed for the Miami Dolphins' head coaching job after they parted ways with Mike McDaniel. The future of [Tua] Tagovailoa and ]Tyreek] Hill in Miami remains unclear, but even if neither of them are with the team next season, Achane and Waddle present an exciting offensive core for Stefanski to work with.

Of the teams Stefanski has been linked to, the Baltimore Ravens give him the best chance to win right away. Stefanski would have the opportunity to work with a two-time NFL MVP in [Lamar] Jackson, as well as one of the greatest running backs of all time in Derrick Henry, a dynamic playmaker at wide receiver in Zay Flowers and one of the best tight ends of his era in Mark Andrews.

All three franchises would be logical landing spots for Stefanski, but the Baltimore Ravens make the most sense.

The Ravens must find an experienced and innovative offensive coach to pair with Lamar Jackson, and Stefanski fits that description. Despite dealing with a revolving door at quarterback during his time in Cleveland, Stefanski was still able to lead the Browns to multiple playoff appearances and put together two winning seasons.

If he gets hired by Baltimore and earns the opportunity to work with the Ravens' dynamic talent on offense, the sky is the limit for a team that is craving to hoist a Lombardi for the first time since 2012.
