The Arizona Cardinals have a question mark at the running back position with Bam Knight going into their Week 11 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Knight sustained an ankle injury in the Week 10 loss to the Seattle Seahawks that had him on the injury report this past week.
Knight turned in three limited practices for the Cardinals before the team labeled him as questionable to play in Week 11.
Here's the latest update on Knight's chances of suiting up on Sunday.
Is Bam Knight playing today?
Knight is expected to play in Week 11 against the 49ers, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
"Cardinals RB Bam Knight, listed as questionable for Sunday due to an ankle injury, is expected to play vs. The 49ers, per source," Schefter wrote.
Bam Knight fantasy advice
Knight was the Cardinals' lead back in Week 10, but he was also outplayed by Emari Demercado, who led the team in carries the week prior.
That sets up a shaky situation in which Knight could potentially take a back seat to Demercado in Week 11. At the very least, we could see a 50/50 split between the two backs.
The matchup is a decent one, as the 49ers are a middle-of-the-road defense when it comes to giving up fantasy points to running backs.
Due to the murky situation with Demarcado and Knight's lack of production overall in recent weeks, he should be kept out of lineups on Sunday.
