The Oregon Ducks are surely looking forward to the arrival of four-star wide receiver commit Messiah Hampton.
First, Hampton is setting records in his final season of high school football.
Hampton is the No. 1 ranked recruit in the state of New York.
He shines on fields in Rochester, New York for James Monroe High School.
When he committed to Oregon, it was over offers from the likes of Ohio State, Georgia, Michigan, Penn State, Miami and Syracuse.
Hampton is now the all-time leading receiver in Section V, which is an area of more than 100 schools in upstate New York featuring Rochester and the surrounding areas.
On Saturday for Monroe, Hampton had 95 receiving yards to push him above 2,300 for his career, and it came in a massive win over fellow Rochester city school East High.
Local reporter Justin Ritzel shared this highlight of the play and a photo of Hampton with his teammates:

East High School's Seven McGee once was a top recruit heading to Oregon from Rochester. He ended up bouncing around to Jackson State and Albany.
Now, Messiah has next.
