Yahoo Sports reported LSU is preparing a seven-year offer worth at least $90 million, paired with more than $25 million annually in roster-investment funds tied directly to NIL and recruiting.

This aggressive offer would elevate Kiffin to the ranks of the sport's top-earning coaches, equipping him with one of the country's most substantial talent-acquisition funds, a pairing that rival administrators believe could establish a lasting powerhouse in Baton Rouge.

Amidst heightened speculation, Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss shared a social media post to reframe the situation. 

“To our fans, this team is completely locked in … We are unbothered by anything about next year and fully trusting Coach Kiffin’s leadership,” he wrote.

LSU's leadership is reportedly united in their organized push to secure Kiffin, as the Tigers gear up for a significant program overhaul with a substantial financial investment in a new coach. This development intensifies the situation for No. 10 Ole Miss (10-1), which is still contending for a spot in the College Football Playoff.
