Eli Manning apparently has some thoughts on the way Lane Kiffin left Ole Miss for LSU's head coaching job.

Manning, a former star QB at Ole Miss, has used his social media platforms to chime in multiple times since Kiffin departed.

The first was when the rumors were technically still just rumors, although pretty firm. That's when Manning wrote the "Coach Manning" would have a good ring to it.

The next came on Tuesday. There was a claim that an Ole Miss fan tried to run Kiffin off the road on his way to catch his plane to LSU.

Manning posted one hilarious word on X: "Oops!"

Manning's feelings in this situation likely align with many Ole Miss fans. It's been a tough time to be on the departed side of this scenario.

The Rebels will head toward the College Football Playoff without the guy who was their head coach all season.

Maybe the college football calendar is partially to blame, but it's still a bummer and frustrating and annoying and all those other negative adjectives.

Manning is just giving Ole Miss fans a few reasons to chuckle amid a weird couple of weeks.
