Legend Bey had one of the weirder recruitment stories in recent memory.

In the end, it all worked out for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

On Tuesday, Bey signed to play at OSU after being released from his Tennessee commitment, according to On3

Bey was originally committed to Tennessee, then flipped to Ohio State about a month ago, then signed back with the Volunteers on early signing day a few weeks ago.

Mixed in were odd reports about Bey only flipping back to Tennessee because his mother refused to back him signing to Ohio State.

Bey, a talented 4-star quarterback listed as an athlete from Forney, Texas, is a big-time recruit.

A tweet surfaced suggesting that Bey had acknowledged publicly that his family was mad he wouldn't sign to Tennessee, the school they wanted.

Bey had told a local reporter earlier on signing day that he was sticking with Ohio State even after Brian Hartline left.

But then he signed with Tennessee.

There's still likely more to emerge about all this.

But it appears that when the dust settles, Bey will be going to Columbus to be a Buckeye.
