The NFC Championship between the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams is turning into an instant classic. Late in the third quarter, the Seahawks lead by four, 31-27, as they try to protect home-field advantage and advance to the Super Bowl opposite the New England Patriots in Santa Clara, Calif.
The Seahawks offense has come up large with nearly 300 total yards, but it's the former Ohio State wide receiver, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who is continuing to have a day with nine receptions for 139 yards and a touchdown.
The game may be far from done, but Smith-Njigba has already made NFL history.
Move over, Justin Jefferson. More receivers are joining the party, introducing Smith-Njigba.

"Jaxon Smith-Njigba passes Justin Jefferson for the most receiving yards EVER by a player in their age 23-or-younger season, including playoffs," the NFL Plus account tweeted Sunday.
Ohio State coach Ryan Day has seen the greatness in Smith-Njigba for quite some time, revealing in October how easy he was to coach and why he is thriving right away.
“His body language when he runs routes makes it so much easier for the quarterback,” Day said on "The Insiders." “His ability to catch and get into run after catch — he can do just about anything as a receiver. And he’s also a tough player. You know, he was one of our better perimeter blockers when he was here. You combine all of those things, and it’s great to see him having such a great impact.”
The tweet has since been viewed over 7,000 times, with much of the NFL 'X' community marveling at how good he has become fairly quickly.
The Seahawks have more work to do to hold off the vaunted Rams, led by Super Bowl-winning quarterback Matthew Stafford.
