Jalen Hurts was a star at Alabama, and his job was taken anyway.
So then he went and became an even bigger star at Oklahoma.
Years later, Hurts is now an NFL star with the Philadelphia Eagles.
But it's his college journey that helped him reach this point of being a Super Bowl champion.

Why did Jalen Hurts transfer from Alabama to Oklahoma?
The simple answer: Tua Tagovailoa.
The lefty had arrived at 'Bama, and he was taking Hurts' job.
Hurts actually stuck around for a season as Tua's backup before departing for his final college campaign.
At OU, Hurts completes 69.7% of his passes, threw 32 touchdowns, ran for 1,298 yards and rushed in 20 more TDs.
It all worked out, because Hurts turned himself into a second-round pick, and then he grew into this star-level player with the Eagles.
