DeQuan Finn, who began his career as a college star at Toledo, would be taking on the Rockets for Miami (Ohio).

But when the game started, Finn wasn't out there.

Miami had lowkey ruled Finn out from the game, but not many were aware of it.

There would be no revenge game.

Why isn't DeQuan Finn playing tonight?

DeQuan Finn was ruled out by Miami (Ohio) ahead of the game against Toledo on Wednesday night.

The reason was listed as undisclosed. ESPN's broadcast shows the reason as an illness.

The Redhawks are starting Henry Hesson at quarterback with Finn unavailable.

Finn played for Toledo from 2019-2023.

He spent the 2024 season at Baylor before coming to Miami (Ohio) for 2025.

So far this season, Finn has thrown for 1,451 yards and nine touchdowns while running 89 times for 395 yards and four more scores.

But in this matchup with Toledo, Finn isn't on the field.
