The holiday week continues will more college football. Minnesota and New Mexico will meet in Arizona for the 2025 Rate Bowl.
Nothing says postseason football like a debut matchup as the Gophers and Lobos prepare to face off for the very first time. On December 26, there's plenty on the line as a win would just mean more to both squads.
The Gophers have won every bowl game they've played under P.J. Fleck, including postseason victories in the past four consecutive years. The game that began the streak? The Guaranteed Rate Bowl in Phoenix.
New Mexico, however, is playing in its first bowl game since 2016. The Lobos went 9-3 in their first season under Jason Eck, and a postseason win would be the perfect end to a historic season.
