Another week, another rankings release. As we inch towards the holiday season, football fans are getting ready to see which programs will make the coveted College Football Playoff.

Much can change in a week of NCAA football. After BYU's 29-7 loss to Texas Tech over the weekend, only three undefeated teams remain — Ohio State, Indiana and Texas A&M. A slew of one-loss teams follow in the national polls, and each rankings release is critical for understanding where programs stand heading into the final stretch of regular season.

How will the projected bracket look entering this weekend's critical games, including Alabama vs. Oklahoma, Georgia vs. Texas, and Pitt vs. Notre Dame?

Here's everything you need to know about the second College Football Playoffs rankings release, including a full schedule of selection shows throughout the 2025 season.
