Former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson is asking for assistance from the public as authorities search for the missing daughter of a family friend.

Johnson, the former No. 1 overall pick in the 1996 NFL Draft, shared the plea on social media on Sunday morning, urging anyone with information to contact law enforcement. The longtime wide receiver wanted to spread the word.

“My friend’s daughter is missing. If anyone has any info then please call the number in the picture or call Phoenix PD directly. Thanks,” Johnson wrote on X.

The former Pac 10 Player of the Year played 11 seasons in the NFL, starring for the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers. He was a three-time Pro Bowl selection and won a Super Bowl with Tampa Bay during the 2002 season.

Since retiring, Johnson has remained a prominent media figure, but he used his platform this time to spotlight the search effort. Authorities have not released additional details publicly, and Johnson asked followers to share the message to help bring the missing child home safely.
