UConn wide receiver Skyler Bell has been named one of three finalists for the 2025 Biletnikoff Award, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced Tuesday.

Bell is the first Husky in school history to reach the finalist stage for one of college football’s premier individual honors. He will be up against Makai Lemon of USC and Jeremiah Smith of Ohio State, with the winner to be revealed during the Home Depot College Football Awards show on ESPN on December 12.

Bell has delivered career-best numbers, hauling in 101 catches for 1,278 yards and 13 touchdowns. He set new school records for receptions and touchdowns in a single season. Bell closes the regular season just 76 yards shy of the UConn mark for receiving yards in a season. He also posted seven 100-yard games this season, tying the school FBS mark previously set in 2016.

Bell ranks first in receptions, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns and number of 100-yard games in the nation. He is second in yards per game (106.5) and receptions per game (8.42), while his 13 touchdowns rank 16th in the country in total touchdowns.

In his two years at UConn, Bell has appeared in 25 games, with 151 catches, 2,138 yards and 18 touchdowns. Combined with his earlier stint at Wisconsin, he has played in 51 career games with 220 receptions, 2,893 yards and 24 touchdowns.

The Biletnikoff Award is presented annually to the most outstanding receiver in the FBS, with eligibility open to anyone who catches a pass, including wide receivers, tight ends, slot backs, wing backs or running backs.
