Parker Livingstone has committed to the Oklahoma Sooners after entering the transfer portal last week. Livingstone was a red-shirt freshman for the Longhorns who tallied just under 516 yards in 29 catches.

Parker Livingstone joins the Oklahoma Sooners.

Livingstone chose the Sooners over Indiana, ruffling some feathers across the Lone Star state joining the Longhorns key rival Oklahoma. He joined Texas fresh out of Lovejoy HS in Lucas, TX. He tallied 115 receptions for 2,200+ yards and 31 touchdowns in his high school career, coming out as a 3-star recruit for the Longhorns.

Parker released a statement on X following the announcement that he would enter the transfer portal.

"Never in a million years did I think I would be going into the portal looking for a new home. Some things are out of my control. Such is the reality of the ever-changing landscape of college football. Emptied my tank every day for this great university, my teammates, & all of the good folks of Texas. Grateful."

Livingstone wasted no time on Tuesday changing his profile picture and his X to mirror his decision to join the Sooners. The move to Norman also comes with a favorable payday for the former Texas HSFB standout. Kirk Bohls of the Houston Chronicle reported that Livingstone will earn roughly $800,000 with the Sooners.
